Winter’s First Bite

The first frost of the season nipped the garden the night before last. Our birdbath was a big, leaf-filled ice cube until the sun warmed things up. The Italian parsley fared well, though, and bounced back from the cold. We still have parsley and kale growing in our vegetable patch. Oh, how I miss summer already!
