Prithvi Mata - Spring Greens and Sweet Peas

Planted the spring greens garden on March 22. A variety of lettuces, dandelion greens, spinach, kale, Italian parsley, and arugula. All from seed. Tucked it all under a row cover. Today, I learned that we have snow coming! That’s the way it goes in the garden. I’ll probably cover it all with a tarp tonight. I also planted about 100 sweet pea (lathyrus-odoratus) seeds over the weekend, in little pots in the sunny window. They might go around the mailbox for perfumed spring/early summer bouquets. Have to figure out a trellis system there. Spring is here!
