We pulled the first carrots from the vegetable garden last night. 

The flavor and crunch of a fresh-from-the-garden carrot can’t possibly be beat. We had all orange, except one, a bright yellow. There were a few Thumbalinas there, too, which I just brushed the dirt off of, and ate while picking other veggies. We planted a wide variety of carrots last spring. 

Today's lunch salad included HG carrots, cucumbers, and tomatoes. Thank you, Mother Earth!
