Love and Mushrooms

Check out some of the beautiful wild mushrooms that appeared on the grounds outside my work space last week. I was astonished when I found them. They appeared without fanfare, and are about the most gorgeous things I’ve ever seen.

Here’s Mother Earth for you. With just soil, air, wind, and water – and a few tiny spores – she makes these little prodigies and quietly puts them out there. If you’re aware, if you keep your eyes open, if you look down, if you go earthing on a summer day, you get to be one of the few who receives some of the magic.

I’m never not going to be in awe of this planet.
