Took a haitus from the blog to get my motorcycle license and buy a bike! That kept me busy and somewhat away from the garden for a short period. I missed it so.

What happened while I was away? Well, the great cool, wet spring weather and compost-rich earth worked wonders on the salad garden! Romaine, red- and green-leaf, butternut, and argula are all HUGE! Very soon now (days, maybe 1 week) it'll be time for the season's first garden-fresh salad. Perfect...
