Brandywine tomatoes

Coming in en masse now. Gave a bag to a friend in the newsroom. Haven't heard her verdict yet, but I can tell you: I took one Brandywine yesterday, sliced it, drizzled raspberry vinaigrette and olive oil over the top, sprinkled just-picked, chopped basil from the garden over that, and a shake of salt. It was like a dance in my mouth.
