Lessons Learned from the Bamboo Art Shop (Another Crooked Etsy Seller)

Another debacle with an Etsy seller based in Thailand. 

Avoid the crooked seller Bamboo Art Shop https://www.facebook.com/bambooartshopping/. Tricksters who take your money and send broken trash to you, then block communication. There's an Etsy-sanctioned trend in which overseas mass producers in the guise of small handcrafters send junk to idiots like me and then sandbag you when a resolution is sought. 

But guess what: those who treat you the worst are the ones who will teach us the best lessons. Lessons I learned from this: buy your goods stateside (Thailand has become a hotbed of second-string consumer fraud), stay away from Etsy completely, and the real moral of the story - learn to live with less things.

That's what I learned here above all. Retail therapy doesn't work. Shopping doesn't quench our desire for contentment. Each thing we buy adds more worry to our lives. Buy less. Instead, save your money for things that matter, or just share it with someone else.
