Dahlias are potted up!

Potted up two large dahlia tubers tonight (the bathroom sink is a wreck) and put them under the lights. A nice, short variety that will do nicely in small pots in summer. Dahlias are great; prolific cutting flowers and the tubers can keep through winter in a pot of peat moss in the garage. I bought these today, because they're a variety I've never seen before - "Fire and Ice." Pretty red and white.They'll be ready to go outside in May.
