If you're going to cheat, be smart about it
April 4 is a mite early to put herbs outside, so call me impulsive.
But the parsley under the grow lights is doing so well (Franchi seeds, thank you - look at those strong, baby roots!) that I thought this afternoon to pot up a few plugs and put it outside in a sunny spot. Then I thought, well, we may get another hard frost before winter retreats, so I recommissioned an old, heavy cloche to cover the young seedlings.
Some top dressing, organic, slow-release fertilizer, a piece of amethyst and crossed fingers; wish me luck. Maybe we'll have early parsley this year! Thank you, Mother E.!
