A 70°F Christmas Eve? Yes!

The weatherman says it’s going to reach 70°F on Christmas Eve day. This means we’re going out into the wild for the day. We would be insane not to be outside for every minute of it. I’m hoping to find some deeply discounted tulip bulbs beforehand, so I can plant more in the front garden. At that temperature, bulb planting in December is not only understandable, it’s a requirement. And a long, barefoot hike in Salmon Brook Preserve is another requirement. I’ve never anticipated this kind of weather on December 24, and I’m not going to let it fly by without embracing it.

Above is a photo of the wild chaga I got from Maine. It made a great tea.
