Italians make the best seeds

About 4 years ago, I stumbled across a pack of Italian imported Franchi seeds at a local nursery. The proprietor raved that Franchi is a superior seed; an almost 100 percent germination rate, magnificent varieties, exceptional basils and tomatoes.
I'm a doubting Thomas, so I put Franchi seeds to the test. Any variety of Franchi basil - violet, Genovese, dwarf, et al - is head and shoulders above any basil I've found in seed or nursery pots. I never looked back. Tomatoes are hardy (yes, these seeds born in the Mediterranean!) and varieties are wonderful. Also, great nasturtiums, sunflowers, marigolds, parsley, fennel. I feel like I've stepped onto the set of "Room With a View".
