Rosemary's Baby

This is the first winter that a rosemary plant from the summer container garden is surviving indoors. What's different this year: The plant is in a "Down Under" pot, hanging in a sunny window, in a cool room. Years past, any rosemary I brought in in September/October, even when kept under a bank of grow lights 14 hours a day, would just dessicate in a matter of months.

If this plant makes it to summer, next September I'll plant up a large rosemary in one of my giant DU pots and hope for an encore. What's better than fresh rosemary growing in your house in winter?

60 days 'till spring...
