We had a great
time at the Olde Mistick Village Garlic Festival yesterday, and my husband
found the black garlic!
A garlic grower in Essex, Connecticut, always has a
booth there, and I couldn't find him, but Todd did, and we scooped up some
fresh bulbs, and some jarred peeled bulbs. They sold out of the black garlic
shortly after. They sell out every day on the first day of the festival, so
here’s to getting up early on a Saturday morning!
Also grabbed some of their elephant garlic and their YUMMY,
homemade garlic powder (forget store-bought garlic powder, yuck). Then we went
to Mystic Seaport for shopping and ice cream, and my husband fished for a bit
off the pier. We're both sunburned this morning.
