Oncidium, down under
Down Under pots are indeed one of the best inventions yet. Practically anything grows better in one, including this orchid (oncidium, "Sugar Baby") which was potted up just about a week ago. Soon, and with blessed Mother E.'s help, the roots will grow around the outside of the pot and the orchid will grow strong and big. Note that I planted it shallow so the roots would be inclined to girdle the pot. In summer, it'll go outside in a semi-shaded spot.
Directly behind the oncidium is the rosemary in a smaller Down Under. It's doing very well. It may make it to summer.
